They are not one in the same. If you are going to lable me then call me a nega-miles. I have had season tix since 1992 and have sat through some very good and some very bad football games. I make several road trips per year and spend roughly 4% of my annual income on LSU football. If I happen to not have faith in CLM that does not mean that I don't love my tigers. In fact it is my love for the Tigers that makes me not like CLM as our HC.

Maybe we can bring Curley back so that you can sit through some bad football and regain your perspective that you have lost!

Just because average is better than bad doesn't necessarily make it good does it? Maybe that just how you roll but not me.

Here's the deal. If Miles wins, he's more likely to keep his job, correct? This is what drives some "nega-miles" people crazy. They want the man gone, and the best chance of that happening is a horrid season or two, is this not true?

Just stating the obvious, but usually, it's one in the same. If you hate the head coach enough of any program, it's almost inevitable you come to despise the program itself, as it becomes impossible to separate the two.

I hear ya Tiger Vision. I'm struggling with this myself right now. I find myself criticizing Jefferson even though I want the kid to succeed and have no agenda as to who should be the QB other than wanting the best player out there.

I have a new found respect for Negatigers. You see a problem and you want it fixed. I may disagree with your diagnosis of the problem but I get being frustrated by a person you feel is pulling the whole team down. You come here to vent, not because you like it, but because you think it needs to be said.

I get it. I don't disagree with the anti-Miles folks but I get it. Sorry I was so hard on the negatigers before. Well, everyone except Nuts4LSU and Maximus.

Mike you hit it on the head.

I respect it too...and it's truly frustrating to see the offense operate. I actually consider the negas the extreme fringe of the negativity spectrum, and sunshine pumpers on the other extreme end.

the rational people are somewhere in between.

And here's the thing; you don't have faith in Miles, ok, no problem.

If you want to express that and discuss the pros and cons, no problem.

What happens day in and day out is that people who hate Miles (and many of them have always hated him) BASH him and ANYTHING positive about LSU just to try to make their case.

They make up really retarded crap and beat it to ever loving death because they think saying it over and over will make it so.

Examples:

Miles hates young people because he will NEVER play underclassmen; see Shep and RR last year, Ford is about the only one they can hang on this year....

Miles hates black people because he refused to start KW over Hester; then he just hated KW because Scott beat him out too.

Miles violated Elliot Porter's civil rights!

Miles hates fat people because he released Garrett.

Miles hates Smart people because Hatch is starting (and doing well) for Harvard.

They will never give him credit for anything and if they have no choice but to acknowledge something great about the team they figure out a way to make it not to Miles credit.

OL is better but Miles had nothing to do with it because he didn't fire Stud, it's all Ben Wilkerson who allegedly hired himself and tells his bosses what to do.

Defense is lights out but it's only because we played UNCs soccer team-not the 4 and 5 star stud recruits that were going to be getting play time this year and starting next year regardless of the suspensions-and two SEC teams that were supposed to be VASTLY improved and would likely beat us or would be 'much closer' than anybody expects, according to the rant, then we beat them by several touchdowns and they just sucked.

We have tons of young EXTREMLEY talented players that Miles recruited but they ONLY came here because LSU is irresistible and a monkey could have recruited them, blah blah blah.

MY point is this, not having faith and even expressing that is fine - tearing down the coaches AND players to the point that our starting QB is making the kind of comments he's having to in order to 'respond to the fan criticism' is ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC and it makes us the WORST FANS ON THE PLANET.

I for one have concerns but I speak out and try to counter ALL of the garbage and negativity as much as I can because I KNOW how destructive relentless criticism can be.

IF YOU ARE A TRUE TIGER FAN YOU SHOULD WANT THE PLAYERS ESPECIALLY KNOW THAT THEY ARE SUPPORTED.

With a current record of 15-54, the Negamiles crowd would've had their asses fired a long time ago if they were in the coaching biz....

We have already established this. Negatiger is a term developed by pro Miles, pro Jefferson, anti Jarrett Lee people. If you disagree on any of these points you are labeled a nagatiger.
