My group will be watching the LSU game sat, and tailgaiting on the"Lawn" sunday. It would be nice to get a good crowd together for pre-game

Live here and catching bus from the Saints bar in the area, Arcadia Tavern, to the game and back. Hoping to get out there early to tailgate and then celebrate after the game back at AT. If anyone is staying near Old Town Scottsdale and wants to ride the bus to/from the game, it is $20 and includes beer, likely Abita, on the bus. Advance reservations are required, their contact info is on their website, www.arcadiatavern.com.
The local LSU Alumni chapter is organizing a view in party for the LSU/FL game. Since they are expecting a larger than normal crowd due to the Saints, they are thinking of hosting it at a place in Downtown Phoenix that will get a band, etc. Details are still being finalized and will be posted on their website, lsuphoenix.org. Email kim.tovrea@greatcajuncookoff.com if you are planning to go, they are trying to get a headcount so they know if they should move to the larger location.

I'm in... bring 20 rowdies with me from So. Cal. Even have friends flying in from BR. Were staying around the stadium area, from Hampton inn, to the residence inn. We arrive Saturday afternoon probably round 2ish.

Good stuff. Myself and a fellow LSU alum will be there with bells on. Definitely looking forward to LSU Phoenix chapter - we did that in Denver a couple years back and since the Saints lost that was arguably the highlight of our tip.

Be sure to email Kim and let her know if you are planning to attend the LSU view in in Downtown Phoenix so she has a head count, kim.tovrea@greatcajuncookoff.com. They are likely moving it, but need to try to get an idea if there is enough interest.

Hoping to make it, depending on the finances.
Worst case scenario, may end up being a drive in for the game, leave right after sorta thing.

I live IN Old Town and I have 2 posters from this site,Redneck and Zealot, coming to stay with me plus a few other friends coming in from out of town. If the bus leaves early enough I will need at least 8 seats. Thanks so much for posting this...I cant wait for this game!!!
How many people are they expecting for the LSU game? If they did it in Old Town I would bring at least 15 people....

I'm gonna be 13 rows behind the Cards' bench. We're meeting some people that work with my wife who are Cardinal season ticket holders to tailgate on the lawn.
I'm looking for some payback from the last time the Saints were here and they played at Sundevil stadium. Some of their fans were huge dicks to me and my son.
Florida week too. It's gonna be a great football weekend.

Arcadia Tavern
How is this place? Does it get good for LSU games too? I'm tired of watching games by myself. And Buffalo Wild Wing's in Avondale is getting old.

Arcadia Tavern is awesome for Saints games, they have a really big crowd, a DJ originally from La plays most of the big games and brings all our favorite NOLA/Saints musuc, and they stock Abita. It was wild for the playoffs, dancing on tables, second lining, etc. If you are on Facebook, join the group for details. LINK
They have been trying to get LSU to watch there, but they haven't been there for a game yet. It looks like they are trying to move it around some this year to other bars, but haven't been to Arcadia yet. They are talking of doing this game downtown near the baseball stadium at Alice Cooperstown, but I agree, Old Town would have been nice with so many out of towners staying close by. Check their website for details when it is finalized, lsuphoenix.org
