I have been an avid supporter of Les Miles.

But I've had about all I can stand of his bull-headed nature. And I don't understand why he isn't pulling out all the stops in an effort to save his job. Either he is in denial or he knows something that we don't. Because I am sure that if he continues on his current path, he will be unemployed at years end...if he makes it that far.
I agree with an earlier poster who said he thinks we have a championship caliber defense. We have championship caliber receivers, RB's, and a very good offensive line. But Les seems to be bent on sticking with JJ...to a fault.
He seems to do things out of pure spite(sp?). He runs the damn option just because he likes it. I wouldn't be surprised if he's starting JJ just because he can run the option and JL can't.
Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe this is why Les Miles is the coach and I'm not, but were I in his position, I would start Cinderella if I thought it gave me a better chance to keep my job. And I would definitely explore running other plays to widen the defense...like end-arounds, reverses, and bubble screens.
I don't know, but I'm tired of stressing about whether my coach has the best interest of LSU at heart, rather than being a hard headed ogre.

the only thing that disappoints me about les is the fact that, for the last few years, he doesn't take chances like he used to. so, the term lesticles no longer applies.

Damn man it isn't super secret. JL turns the fricking ball over JJ doesn't.

He is making these decisions because he wants to lose and hurt Tiger fans. Yeah, that's it.
We are 2-0. If we go through the schedule and end up undefeated, but JJ still looks bad, should he change then too?
The perfect season for LSU fans is as follows:
Go undefeated, win the BCS and fire the coach cause we didn't look good at it.

I agree, I can no longer stand up for a man with a 2-0 record in 2 games. I gave him a chance at the beginning of the year, but after he won that second game, that was the last straw. I bet that bull-headed bastard probably wants to win this weekend too, just to rub it in.

Interesting, I have some similar feelings. i will give him the benefit of the doubt, and I support him, too; however, I do question his decisions sometimes about who and how they play. Jefferson better have one heelacious game this week, or it is going to be hard to find any support for Coach Miles.

perhaps if you had all the information you'd realize that Cinderella didn't give you a better chance to save your job...

Les can be as bull headed as he wants at over 3 mill a year or a 13 mill buy out.

maybe you are wrong and maybe he does know something that we don't. sorry, he doesn't coach by "fan committee". some things he does do not appear correct to many of us (to ALL of us sometimes) and i'm sure he makes mistakes, but i'm also sure he does them for the right reason; he just doesn't tell us why. think about it; if the reason involves something negative about a player, he can't tell us (nor should he). it's hell being and LSU fan sometimes because it's OUR TEAM and we have inquiring minds and an extreme passion for our team. i think we are the biggest "second guessers" and sunday morning critics in college football. goes with the territory and we also are great fans that fork over the bucks to our program. i think mack brown likes coaching at texas so much (one reason anyway) is because their fans, in general, just accept his decisions with little questioning or complaining.

People keep saying this but we're 2-0... against UNC, a team with half their starters missing, and VANDY!!! And we struggled at times against them both

Would you rather be 0-2 or 1-1..fact is we have played 2 games and while they have been less than wonderful we are still 2-0.
