Good point that all ranters should consider. But interestingly, I think it's the post you made on a different thread that is a bit more impactful: when coaches start listening to the directives of fans, they're destined to soon be sitting with those same fans in the stands.

I, too, was frustrated with JJ's play on Sat night. But I also know three things: (1) I'm not a coach, and I haven't been watching these kids play for months/years from the sidelines; (2) I was equally - if not far more so - frustrated with JL's play when he was given plenty of opportunities; and (3) I saw only one pass from JL on Sat night - certainly not enough for me to suddenly anoint him as the re-born NFL-quality QB that so many others seem convinced he has become.

In short, the coaches on the field clearly see something week in and week out that we do not.

As always, good thoughts from an unbiased BamaScoop.

Bamascoop is well liked around here..usually for his wit.

We all have HD TV's nowadays, right?... Everyone in the nation knows we have a QB issue. I apoligize if that hurts JJ and his families feelings.

I want the kid to succeed. With that laid out, with the QB position comes the highest level of criticism and glory.. Thus, why they are the highest paid players in the NFL.

Accuracy issues are a player/talent issue..perhaps a practice issue. I don't think it's coaching. In 2.5 years, I see the same ball coming out his hands...long arm,

LSU fans and coaches know that Lee is the better passer from day one. Lee's issue is nerves and confidence during a game. If Lee can get past this, he is light years better than JJ relative to passing down feild with accuracy.

The fans can see the truth.. JJ hasn't developed his game and Lee deserves his 2nd chance to reclaim his starting position. That is fair... the team must come first, not the players feelings.

simple as that..

This is no different than criticizing Shaq for his horrible free throws.. It's the Truth!! The truth stings sometimes
