Also, the defense had a lot to do with it. In 2008, if Lee didn't come out firing on all cylinders from the first snap, he would find himself down two or three TDs before he could get untracked. Think about the Florida games in '08 and '09. In '08, for the first 20-25 minutes of the game, Lee couldn't do anything with our offense. Result: we're down 20-0 and have to get desperate. In '09, for the whole game, Jefferson couldn't do anything with our offense, but he went into the 4th quarter down only 10-3. Lee never had the luxury of settling into a game and letting it come to him. He had to press hard and make plays from the first snap every game.
