"That's what happens in the game of football,I'm not always perfect. The best quarterback in the world not always perfect. It wasn't a night for me to be highly accurate with passes. It happens."

Does this statement concern you a little?

He also said he was playing well in the spring game, when he was about 1-12 at that point.

I dont blame him....I blame Miles for not seeing he sucked and making a change.

I can understand somewhat trying to let him work thru it but he should have been pulled earlier than he was

That probably was the coach pep talk delivered to him after the game. Heck if we applied the same to ridley on his game last week. He would not have been able to come through like he did this week. I would see how JJ responds next week if he comes out with a similar performance in comes Lee,,,,

not as much as people who can't understand a simple explanation...JJ had a bad night and he fully realises that he must perform better or he will open the door for someone else. the kid is a winner and he will do everything in his power to correct his mistakes.

Agreed, and this may be a good thing for him.

Yeah... he's pretty good at completing 6 yard passes on 3rd and 10.

Jefferson seems to be very arrogant. If you look at him on the field when he does something bad he does nto care or looks for a penalty. When he does something good he throws up the windshield wipers or taunts the other team.

exactly! and simple passes like that. sometimes i think crowton is playing the per centage game instead of the result game. the result of that is that results aren't as important as the stats. that results in bad results. sorry, i'm hung over and result seems to be stuck in my head this AM and that is resulting in me using result too often. the result of which is getting ready to be a bloody mary.
