Any of you guys in Northwest Louisiana, how is Dak doing so far this year? I heard he did well in a scrimmage but havent heard anything since then. I think Mullen may have found a diamond in the rough.

Prescott, who's already committed to Mississippi State, had 92 yards rushing on 20 carries with one touchdown on a 6-yard keeper. He threw for two touchdowns, covering 36 and 25 yards, respectively.

Prescott finished the night 12-of-15 for 208 yards, with no interceptions. His 36-yard toss for a score went to senior receiver Ryan Schilling, just two plays into the second quarter, while his 25-yard strike went to senior Trent Jacobs midway through the third quarter.

This week so be a good OFFENSIVE game to watch. Minden at Haughton. Leppert vs. Prescott. I believe Prescott has a better team around him than Leppert, but both QB's should put on an air-show!

How do you guys think Dak will fit in Mullen's spread offense?

He's not Tebow. I've seen him play alot. He tends to be more of a pocket passer than a scrambler. SEC D's will be just as fast as him.

He's still a top notch athlete.

Dang Im a little disappointed in what you guys are saying about his arm. I have heard he is a good athlete, who is athletic enough to play LB on the next level. I assumed he had a solid arm strength. I guess thats why more schools havent offered him.

Don't take it the wrong way... JJ doesn't have Russel strength(not many do) and his release my be slow, but he has a Very strong arm. Dak isn't too much weaker, but he is a poor man's JJ.

Not knocking Prescott at all. I'm glad a kid from this area is getting the looks. I'm in his corner.

pocket passer yet mobile(not break away speed)... Size is similar

(JJ is just a little taller at 6'5) and weight is about the same .

Differences are:

Accuracy is a little lower than JJ

Arm strength is strong, but not as strong as JJ's

Is that enough?

from what I've been hearing Prescott does have a much better team, and is a better athlete, but Leppart is a better pure QB with pin point accuracy

there are a ton of QBs that are mobile but are true pocket passers. the only clear similarity beyond that is that both players are black.

Look every person that follows recruiting, here will tell you he is a poor person's JJ. Accepting our evaluations is up to you, but to critique so many similar opinions as you are is pretty damn foolish.

Even people from Haughton compare him to JJ.
