My view -

We should be a serious contender for the SEC West Championship next season.

Too may inexperienced players this season. Inconsistant quaterback play last night - no significant improvement - does not yet have the ability to pick up secondary receivers.

Running Backs are fumble prone. The freshmen should get some time, assuming they understand the playbook. Ford, Ware, and Blue could be an improvement if they can hold on to the football.

LB and DB are young with the exception of Sheppard and Peterson. Too many mistakes.

Next season they will be a year older, smarter, bigger, faster, and more experienced.

Support the Team - my prediction is we will struggle against all good teams we play this season.

They will be inexperienced next year too since we haven't been able to develop talent worth a shite in 6 years.

AND they do this every year. AND they did it when Saban was the coach. AND they will do it again next year. I love their passion, but question their judgment.

It doesn't appear to be happeneing, but let's hope it does at some point...the brain is maleable, but only when significant re-training occur in an intense and consistent and smart way. Who is going to do that?

Slidell, you are correct. We are a year away, with some luck we could still do 9-3 this year. I want to see signs of improvement week to week with this team. That's what good coaching does.

Good coaching? Where? Not it Baton Rouge at this present time.

I fully support the team. However, we need to be realistic. We are more than a year away. We may have the talent next year to win the West, but our QB play and coaching will prevent us from even getting close. Thanks to Miles' crack recruiting, we are still going to be struggling with J. Lee and J. Jefferson. No one is behind them.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Bama fans are just as bad if not worse when they don't perform well.

Every year is a rebuilding year in college for most teams. People lose eligibility every single year.
