What is the reality of getting rid of Miles?

The last time we actually fired a coach was old Gerry D and i remember how that went down...people were wearing the shirts and the signs were everywhere telling him to go.
With the contract buy out being so much, is it feasible? I don't really understand how the whole money game works.
And call me crazy but I would even take Mike Leach...he was a great coach and got the most out of his kids...not to mention he had balls! He's a CBS sports announcer right now so he's definitely available!

He would get owned in the SEC.
Will Muschamp is the coach for LSU and I think he would come in a heartbeat. I think he is every bit as good as Saban was at his age. The guy is the next best coach in college football.
Kirby Smart would also be a great hire. He runs our defense on the field contrary to what most people think.
I think you have to have a defensive minded head coach to dominate and be very competitive in the SEC.
Offense is an accessory on a championship team.

you call that a win? yea i know are givin it to him after one game but that might as well been another game from last season...no improvement! we still look dumb founded on offense and as usual we got out coached. watch the highlights of that tennessee game in 2005...see anything famaliar?

Besides losing, you need a drop off in both attendace and recruiting. It's wasted energy right now.

ooook...i see you are still on the Miles boat. i'll let you keep thinking that

Im on the LSU boat. Obviously you have an agenda.
LSU beats UNC....Ole Miss LOSES to Jacksonville State....yet somehow you've come to the conclusion that Ole Miss is going to "walk all over" LSU. Interesting

Reality= Miles stays this year, no change unless we collapse and don't make a bowl. No in-season change.
Miles needs to address the offense. I think simplifying the offense is mandatory- less wrinkles and reads, more focus on execution.
Defense plenty good enough if we can hold the ball and move the chains. Yates dropped back 50-odd times, and they weren't running a Texas Tech offense. Had we controlled the clock better, he gets 30ish pass attempts and ends up with around 220 or so yds.
