I blame EA for not getting off of their fat asses and putting out a patch for it.

There are probably a few algorithms it affects and they're trying to recode some things. That still shouldn't be in any final product, though. Using the availability of direct patching as an excuse to rush out a half-assed product is a flawed mentality.

this didnt start happening till the last patch. i doubt someone goes in and trys every play against every team in every situation after a patch is released.

It wouldn't have required actually testing the backwards pump fake to detect this kind of problem in the code.
I'm just saying that NCAA has a definite deadline every year, and it's going to be put out on that date no matter how little testing has been done.

People just don't realize this.
Everything they change in the coding has a chance to frick up something else,a nd they obviously can't test for that after every patch.

Maybe I'm being unfair to EA in particular. I'm just a little put off by the current philosophy of the gaming industry.

And it's true. Other great versions like 2006 were fantastic, but they had there flaws as well.

I've seen multiple posters here and the 120 team league I play in, the general consensus for the entire league is that this is the best NCAA ever.

It's the most sim NCAA league out there and always has been.
That's the reason why of all the 120 team leagues they used to have 5 years ago, it is the only one remaning and still thriving.
