Florida is really easy. You basically have to live here for one year and have your own residence, power bill in your name and and Florida DL for 12 months. After that, you are a Florida resident.

Back in the day when I went to LSU you had to work ful time for one year. That would mean that you would have to drop out iof college for a year. It's no damned wonder people flee Louisiana once they graduate.

Great. 4.0 throughout high school and still won't be able to go to the college I love. My mom is a grad and I live in Mississippi. MS is experiencing major budget cuts. Not as much as LA tho I believe...

Still sucks

There are many MANY reasons for that.

I think the main reason most LSU grads who DO remain in-state do so is LSU football. Can't be for the wealth of desirable and high paying jobs for college grads in Louisiana. The obsession to watch the Tigers play in Tiger Stadium 7 times a year is just too strong for many. There's just not much else that is desirable about this state outside of LSU......

Yeah and they flee primarily to Texas but only because it offer the best opportunity for economic prosperity. At least that is my excuse for leaving South Louisisna.
