Anyone have anything on Gibson or Maclin?

With all of the discussion of our newcomers that are doing well, does anyone have any inside information on how Sam Gibson and Justin Maclin have performed in fall practices/scrimmages?

I believe I read Maclin was in the game plans for UNC.
As for Gibson, I haven't seen anything.

Both are likely headed for a redshirt. Maclin probably will need to end up playing DE to get on the field. Gibson has looked good at safety but he was being cross-trained some at WR.

Macklin is still practicing with the linebackers. Might get on the field on special teams.
Gibson has been switched from safety to wide receiver, and from the film of him practicing that I've watched, he appeared to be very smooth as it appeared to me like he was a natural wide receiver.
