pre-season speculation is just that-speculation.
That's why 2 diff "journalists" picked 2 diff scenarios.
LSU has a great season, I could "speculate" with some grit, luck and determination, we can go undefeated and shut your ignorant mouth. Of course the latter won't happen, but, I can dream can't I?
