We'll be coming in at about 2:00pm from the northeast on I-85. We've been to Phillips Arena several times and we usually park at the Chamblee MARTA station and take the train in. Do you see any problems doing that for this game?
Thanks.

Thanks.

We stqy at Marriott Marquis or Marriott Renaissance, take the train right to the doors of the stadium. No problem

DO NOT GET ON THE MARTA, ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE AFTER THE GAME

I was told to park at Olympic Centennial Park. IDK, gonna do some scouting the Friday afternoon.

Don't listen to this guy. The MARTA is fun after the game.
We rode it after the 05 destruction of Miami in the Peach bowl and it was all Tiger fans. It was pretty fun.

Are there any buses running from the buckhead areas?

Should be but be aware that the Buckhead area of old with all the bars is gone. They closed them all down. Just FYI.

Yea but have you seen the prices for rooms around the stadium?
Yesterday hotels with rooms remaining near the stadium are $750.00 - 1,500.00....

Oh I know I agree, just giving Tigers fans a heads up that the Buckhead of old is no more. They closed down all the bars and opened up strip malls.

Yes.
If your goal is to have a seat with an empty seat beside you, so you can read a book and relax, then it is a nightmare.
It will be crowded and loud and lots of cramming in. Just prepare for that and you'll be fine.

Well there will still many tiger fans staying in the Hotels in this area.... so we gonna.... Fire it up one way or another!

It honestly wasn't that bad after the 05 Peach Bowl. And I know bad subways... I spent three weeks in Moscow a couple summers ago and THAT subway was crowded/crammed all day every day. Marta is a piece of cake compared to the Moscow metro.

I know I live 45 mins from Atlanta and me and my Dad and little Brother are staying in a hotel in MidTown. Gotta be down there close to party with fellow Tigahs!

I heard that they charge for the Chamblee station, so we are taking the Doraville station. Not sure if that is true or not.

He's my sons best friend and he is going in memory of his recently deceased father who was from NC...
anyway his father and I always golfed with our sons and he made Cheif Master Seargent in the AF and then devloped colon cancer...
Naturally they are/was bigger Panthers fans and Basketball fans....
However we always said that if LSU and UNC ever played, we'd go see the game...
So... out of respect for his father....
He invited my son and his SO and bought the tickets for them and paid there hotel room...
He is a fine young man and as such I won't give him tooo much shite...
He and UNC isn't going to know what hit them!
However; I know that the Late
Micheal Meritt, CMSgt, USAF will be watching from above!
And I will have a toast to him!

We are staying on a boat on lake Alatoona (I think I spelled that right) what's the best parking option coming in from that direction?
