Agreed. The better question is whether the decision to pull Garrett's scholarship had anything to do with Lee.

look, if Chris G was lagging behind both JJ and JL in spring practice to the point where the team decided not to renew his scholly.....how BAD to you think he looked?

Really?
I don't recall him leaving during the spring.
And I don't recall him leaving after school ended.
I thought it was right before fall camp opened -- you know they told them ZL would be getting third team snaps because that would help them seal the deal.
Everyone agreed Garret preformed really well last spring and that had no effect on the depth chart. So why pretend like it did this spring?

Yeah thats what I thought he looked good in the Spring.. then it comes out that he did not want to compete and was not working hard in the off-season.. kind of strange??

LM talks out of his a**!!! CG was NEVER given the opportunity to compete. He had 7 snaps at Spring Game and that was supposed to show his WANT??? If he had no WANT then he would have left after the spring. However, he did not. He went to summer school, practiced and worked out with the team EVERY day, and made the grades!!! LM yanking his scholley was a ploy to entice ZL and it backfired on him! LM deserves to go into this season with only 2 sholley qb's. The fans should be ashamed of his actions!

Yep from his first day of practice at NSU. Highly doubt that's weight he added during the short period when he was off LSU's team.
