It won't be long before you start hearing all kinds of good things about Bailey in practice..."diamond in the rough",etc. etc.

The truth is Bailey could have been on scholarship at a number of schools but had his heart set on LSU. In fact he was as highly rated coming out of HS as the guy who just signed a $50,000,000 contract by the name of Bradford. One scenario would have Bailey receiving a scholarship now to insure he too does not leave.

I watched his video film and he has a nice touch on his throws. I think he will do very well and surprise many.

He certainly must be doing a jig in his apartment this morning.

I'm guessing the LSU in state tuition wasn't that big of a deal to him.

both were 3 stars, this is true...but look at the scholarship offer list for both
bradford: oklahoma, iowa state, texas a&m, texas tech
bailey: northwestern state
im sorry, you can spin it anyway you want, but if barrett bailey is taking meaningful snaps as a QB, the LSU football program is in a world of dogshit

Not true. The only problem I have with the kdi being under center is that he'll be soooo damn young when it happens. I'm mad because we won't have a smooth transition (similar to something we all experienced with Flynn to Lee). Just don't want to go through that again.

was rated the #28 dual threat in the nation out of U high of B.R.
THREE star.
he is healthy.

He may not be as bad as everyone makes him out to be. All he has to do is be a game manager. With our weapons we should be ok.

more than likely true, brah
im gonna bash the kid as little as possible, because i give him props for walking on...but he is in no way, shape, or form, and SEC caliber QB, period.

The point is Bailey would be a better option than most JUCO qb's like some are touting. As for as dogsh*t it kind of feels like we're already there does it not?

...hope for over-achieving "game manager" who knows how to read a defense and can change plays at the line...

...As long as he doesn't have a brother named "Beetle"
Actually I think his offer list might have suffered since he was so set on LSU. Schools tend to just move on when no interest is shown. At any rate, I'm very happy we have him. I hope he has a fairy tale career at LSU!
