Arkansas game

So whats the deal with this game this year? Is CBS wanting it back as the Friday game or will it be an ESPN Saturday night game again? I know a lot of you hate the CBS day game thing but I loved that game being the day after thanksgiving. TIA

It will be Saturday this year and probably back to Friday next season. Alabama/Auburn on the Friday after Thanksgiving was a two year deal, but Saban hates it.

I hope it is on saturday. I was planning a three day hunting trip (deer duck ladies) wen-friday before the game in Arkansas. Then go to the game on saturday!

I had heard that Saban liked playing on the Friday after Thanksgiving when he was at LSU because there were fewer games so the team got more national exposure.
I thought I had heard that he was responsible for moving the Arkansas game to Friday, but looking back at schedules it was moved a year or two before he got here.

while we're at it, can we take all those SEC teams off their schedule too? I mean we all know they're the best team of all time so why should they have to play all those SEC games? I say they play a warm up game against the College of Charlston and then have a week off before playing in the National Championship.

Well, he does have a valid point.
Auburn usually gets a bye week prior to the Alabama game. If they game is on Friday, then Auburn still has the bye and Alabama gets a shortened week.
Both LSU and Arkansas play the week before, so they work on the same schedule.
