I may try to wait to get tickets outside the Ga. Dome rather than overpaying from a broker.

Can't sell within 1/2 mile of the Dome. Even for face or less.
I was almost sent to Fulton County for this in 2005.

Slight hijack, but has it become frequent for people to sell bogus tickets that won't pass a bar code scan outside of TS?
I haven't purchased a ticket on the street since my friend was burned for a NC ticket outside the Dome in January of 2004. I'm going to be back in BR for ULM and Ole Miss on consecutive weeks and I'd just as soon get tickets that day, but I'm skeered.

There will be an abundance of tickets. If you don't want to pay the brokers, there are still some seats available through ticketmaster.com. Go to the Chick fil a kickoff classic webpage and click on the link. From there, you can view all the available sections for the number of tickets you need. I live in Georgia and have decided to wait until gameday. You should be able to find great seats for face or less. Good luck and Geaux Tigers

i sold an extra ticket 20 feet away from the gates for the chik-fil-a bowl 2 years ago. fwiw

I bought another ticket 2 days ago from the LSU ticket office online. One in section 117 which is a really good seat. If you are sure that you're going, go there to see what's still available.
