I am all for changing out the windows, because they really are an embarrassment to LSU- however, will anything be done with all these dorm rooms with the nice new, energy-efficient windows??? A poster a few months back suggested removing all asbestos and making some nice suites out of the rooms- sounds costly though....

Shouldn't the FIRST priority in any TS renovation project be to clean up all that damn asbestos?
seems like it should.

Removing asbestos is VERY VERY expensive and right now, the money is just not there with all the state cut backs.

If this would be anywhere else in the SEC, the old dorm rooms would have already been totally gutted and renovated OR totally torn out, demolished and replaced with something that is useful and aesthetically pleasing. Makes no sense what-so-ever to put expensive windows in if those rooms are not going to renovated and used. Huge waste of money. They should just remove all the windows/frames and put in some kind of Roman Coliseum style facade to match the architecture of the stadium.(Arches)..........
