not good, I guess, or nobody has seen it, or not obscure enough.

Not at all what I expected it to be. I thought it was going to be somewhat scary. It wasn't at all. I enjoyed the movie, but it kinda let me down, because of what I was expecting.

I liked it, but it was just ok. Worth the watch for sure. Not one of his ( Scorsese ) best, but definitely kept my attention. You will figure it out pretty soon into the movie I think.

o/t.... unfortunately that rapist never went to prison. House arrest while waiting for extradition that never happened isn't considered prison in my book.

I've got Shutter Island coming tomorrow. First time I've seen it since the theater. Looking forward to it.

Shutter Island was lightyears better upon second viewing. Being in on the secret, you pick up on so much more the second time around, little nuances that definitely went unnoticed by me the first time around. For anyone who was on the fence about Shutter Island or even if you thought it was very good, watch it a second time and I bet you'll think it is great.
