More impressive: Miles in '07 or Saban in '03?

2007 national title: Schedule included a Meyer/Tebow led Florida, Phulmer coached Tennessee in SEC Championship, Virginia Tech (top 10 at the time), Spurrier coached South Carolina, a bowl Kentucky team, and Arkansas anchored by two 1st round RBs (McFadden/Jones), and a ranked Auburn and Alabama teams.

2003 national title: Schedule included a David Green led Georgia team, but the SEC overall was pretty down....Zook coached Florida team, unranked Arkansas, Alabama, and South Carolina teams, no big name out of conference school.

I'd have to say Miles in '07 was more impressive although I think the '03 team was a better team.

I'll say equal..

-'03 because of where we were in '99
-'07 because of the extremely hard schedule
and winning the SECCG with a backup QB.

07 More Impressive Team that some time under performed.
+
03 Less Impressive Team overall but each performed to their maximum ability.

Even Les could have gone undefeated with the talent on the '03 team.

03 team was better. After the loss to Florida, LSU pretty much dominated everyone.

But 03 was more fortunate because they were healthy all season, except when Addai went down....he was replaced by Justin Vincent, and we all know how he did.

I still wish the 07 team was healthy all season. Doucet made a huge difference as did Dorsey.

We were so much better from start to finish in 03 than 07 it's not even funny. So crisp and fluid and well coached.

That beat us. Throw this one out.

Not really. Final BCS Poll and final AP ONLY VALID ONES Auburn was #24 & 15 while Bama was not in top 25.

Agree. Also why we didn't back into the Championship game like Lucky Les.
