update about the unc probe

its a good news/bad news thing.
It will be easier to beat them without their #1's, but worth less in the BSC computer calculations
(presuming LSU is in the running for the National Champ game)
if NC has to play the season without their best players and turns out to be #3 in the ACC instead of winning it.

I would much rather play their real team. That way we know what kind of team we really have. And if we don't come to play, at least we can get rid of da Hat sooner, rather than later.

The days of anticipating a run at a national championship are behind us, at least for now. Let's worry about beating teams, and enjoying it, whether they have all their 1's or not.

Lets worry about beating the team we line up against. That is the only thing within our control.
If we are focused on whose not playing, we will end up letting those who are playing beat us.
In the end a W is all that counts.

I wouldn't. I'll take an easier opponent to start the year and work out the kinks considering we have plenty of opportunity against SEC teams to find out what kind of team we have.

Well not really, for one winning 10 games means losing 2. LSU in 07 is only team to play for a championship with 2 losses unless you assume it is going to happen again.
Then lets say 6-2 in SEC, you would have to hope you have tie breaker over another team or everyone finished worse than 6-2 in SEC.
Then you still have to win SEC Championship game if you make it.
So you must assume another season like 07 where there is multiple 2 loss teams.
