Someone told me the tides are now keeping the oil to the West... any truth to that?

I'm on the 5th floor of the condo and the water looks fine from here. We'll hit the beach in the morning.
Condo has a statement about checking and washing your feet just in case you're tracking in tar.
Gulf looks bluish-green from here and sand looks good too.
