Probably the first of many if NOAA's forecast is right about this being one of the most active storm seasons ever. A lot of guesswork's involved, but some models have it moving right over the slick area.

I could see a Cat. 4 or 5 or two blowing into New Orleans this season. Not sure how the slick would be affected though.

sorry guys, we went ahead and decided to go to Seaside next week.......mother nature ALWAYS sends a storm when we go. no shite.

Figured since it was early in the season she wouldn't notice, but she may have.

Well then, it's obvious the Feds should issue a moratorium on your coastal vacations.

Didn't they do this crap last year. Said it was going to be one of the most active, then halfway through the season they adjsuted the numbers down and then once again 3/4 of the way through adjusted it down again. Actually that may have been Dr. Grey.

Hell I could do that kind of prediction. Make up a number and adjust as it goes. They can't predict this at all. All they can do is say what the average is and go from there.
