How much oil is presently being captured?

They are at about 26K capacity right now. This capacity should be increased (doubled) at the end of the month. And more capacity will be added after that... mid July.
Once the 50K capacity is in place you will then see the oil flow drop of to what appears to be 'a lot less' than before or maybe even down to zero.
Whether the flow is 40, 60 or 100 will be established at that point with total accuracy or a heck of a lot more accuracy.
Once the flow is cut down that much even if it isn't 100% I doubt any will ever make shore because they will skim it all up.
Of course if a storm moves through then it will be back to dumping everything into the gulf again until after the storm.
