because of their "not so distant" success. Do they look at us as their bitch and think that they are better than us? Miles is under the microscope this year and every little flaw or clock mis-management will get him deeper and deeper in the fans doghouse. He has no room for error this year and I hope he brings the "respect" factor back with a 10 win season or better. Less than 10 wins and I think he's gone. Just my hfo.

Seriously? Did we become Vanderbilt overnight?

hell no us why would anyone respect us! We were one of three teams with a winning SEC record. Now our coach on the other hand can be debated but the team as a whole I think still earns respect(but not as much as they once did)

IMO, most SEC schools know that LSU has some of the best talent in the league, no question about it. I know that Les Miles didn't become brain-dead in 2 years and that with improvement in a few areas, he has the players to win the conference.

I had a meeting last night with all of the ADs in the SEC. We discussed this issue and ordered a perma-hate on LSU. So, to answer your question, yes. Yes, they all disrespect us.

They respect us, but they do not fear us. I think they know we have individual talent all over the field, but are still very beatable. Ole Miss, Miss. St, Vandy hanging tough with us, etc. all have proven that.

Why do they let a thread started by a Florida State fan disrespecting our team stay on here? Whack this kinda crap and if he starts something else similar to this whack him permanently.

Fair question imo, grow a pair. And btw, it was an LSU fan who posted the thread.

To the OP, they know Les Miles will always give them a chance to win.

If he is a LSU fan then the word fan needs to be redefined.

first of all, 9-3 and a fair game on the Capital One bowl's brand new turf surface, beating the Big Ten #2, for a 10-3, is not going to get Miles or anyone on the staff fired.

I think they can go undefeated or 6-6.

Every game will be a challenge, but that's football.

You saw last year, a couple of mid level teams gave Bama and Florida all they could handle down to blocked field goals.

There are no sure things in football or life.

their coaches do.

We were in both the Bama and Florida games.
Florida game was decided by two bad calls by refs,
the fumble which was overturned right before the 2nd field goal, and the TD was done by holding the uni of the DB, and pulling him.

Therefore, No one at Florida's staff thinks we are an easy game.

Bama game might have turned on the INT (even though injuries had decimated the offense). Those who saw the replay who dont live in Bama know that the INT happened in bounds.

no team in the sec fears any other team they respect each other and you can bet they respect LSU and I would be willing to bet that the coaching staff at each school no matter what is said on the rant respects our coaching staff
