the weakened big 12 will make it much easier for LSU and Arkansas to make an sec pitch in Texas

How so??
This weakened big 12 only hurts the opinion of the big 12. LSU and Arkansas have the sec pitch to the players in texas

Hows that? How were Nebraska and Colorado making it harder to recruit Texas??

Texas and Oklahoma will still win and fight for the best recruits in texas

LSU has had success recruiting in Texas largely by pitching the opportunity to play in the SEC and still play close to home. Had Aggie joined the SEC, Aggie would have had a better pitch in this regard than LSU. So this result avoided that negative impact on LSU.
Now, the pitch only has legs if the SEC is the top conference. The Big XII without Nebraska and Colorado is weaker. So the SEC is even stronger. So this result positively impacts LSU's recruiting opportunity.
Win-win.
