Texas can't let A&M go, interesting.

If you look at the facts, it's probably better for both universities to go their seperate ways, then to put together this crap that is now the Big 12 - But Texas just can't let A&M go..
Sucks to have a new conference where everyone will have one foot out the door..

I agree and it would be better for Texas to go too and U.T. knows this, but by playing politics and trying to put all the blame on A&M for the break-up, Texas still has the upperhand now that everyone is staying..

What is the rush? The SEC will take them in the future and this gives the SEC more time to consider balanced expansion on its own timing not that of UT.
