BIG XII recruiting

Does all this cockamaimie hurt the Big XII when it comes time to recruit? I realize it probably wont hurt Texas, but what about OU? This has to hurt OU. All this instability would drive an 18 year old nuts wouldn't it? If I were a coach, which I'm not, I would target every big prospect in Texas and use this against schools like Texas, OU, OSU, TTU etc.

I think it hurts them all. I'd certainly use it to sell against the Big 12. It won't hurt Texas as much as it'll hurt Baylor or ISU, but it will still hurt.

While I agree with your point, these schools' struggles with recruiting are greater than conference realignment.
