Hmmm SEC or something else?

If Texas A&M is fortunate enough to be invited to join the elite SEC, they should jump at the chance.
To stay in mediocrity and flounder under the gaze of UT makes very little sense, IMO.
But, Aggie jokes exist for a reason. I hope this one's punchline doesn't hurt the people in College Station too bad.

as far as i'm concerned, this is not about what's best for Texas A&M--it's about what's best for LSU first, SEC second

But it is about what is the best conference. You get what you pay for and the Big XII wasn't a real financial winner.
Texas wants Notre Dame money, but it doesn't seem they are going to get that.

whether or not the SEC offers Texas A&M is not about what would be the best move for the Aggies. I know our house is better. It's about what is best for LSU (for me) and the SEC secondarily. It's like the argument is now about a beauty contest from A and M's perspective.
