Does anyone really believe aTm and UT want the Big 12 to survive?

I just can't believe that both sides really want this to happen. Is it just both sides basically trying to see who will fold first? How crazy would it be for both universities to sign on to a shitty conference just because they don't want to be THAT school. Then both would be unhappy in the new Big 12-2 and it will probably fold in a few years anyway. What do you UT and aTm fans say? Isn't this all just posturing from both sides to see who will flinch first?

no i don't believe it. but a&m has played texas like a fiddle so far. by threatening to go to the sec, they have texas scrambling- i love it!

Tamu did before this all came out. Now they are reacting to what Texas started. Texas wants what they want.
As of now, I think both sides know it's done. Just isn't official yet. Texas wants to play games and try to blame Tamu, Tamu just joined the game is all imo. All of the blame and finger pointing belongs squarely in Texas' corner. Kudos to Tamu for actually standing up for themselves. Texas just proved they really are classless. Spoiled children who didn't get their way and now want to play politics to avoid the blame they deserve.
I find this hilarious. I still believe it is done just not signed and official but will be. Tamu to the Sec and the other 4 are going west.

I think it would be only a matter of time before the saved Big 12 explodes again...
Aggies know this, because of U.T. ego..Aggies have a ACE in the hole with the SEC and I'm willing to bet both A&M and the SEC will wait as long as need be..
