he is the greatest player on the planet right now.

that being said, does anyone think that he's kind of a bad teammate at times.

i understand he wants to win, but some of his antics are a bit ridiculous. yelling and throwing his hands in the air when someone does something wrong, tellin phil jackson in front of the team "i'll cover him" when an opposing player is scoring a lot, etc...

thoughts?

This is what he should do, they're grown men their feelings shouldn't be hurt by it.

This doesn't make you a bad teammate at all.

yelling and throwing his hands in the air when someone does something wrong,

Not a bad teammate, but that just makes him look immature, and he's been doing that for years, the little temper tantrum and flailing his arms around.

1.) I still take Lebron right now over anybody; the intangible "killer instinct" that everybody talks about with Kobe is not enough to sway me from that freak of nature.

2.) Kobe is hyper-competitive, and he was the only reason tonight wasn't a blowout for the Lakers. That being said, he bitches too much at times and it's easy to imagine his teammates just tuning him out after a while.

I'd be worried if he didn't do any of these things. If someone is hot and their man can't guard them why shouldn't he step up to the challenge. It's his team and he's the leader.

The "killer instinct" is something the media spouts off about and people pick up on it.

I'm not saying Kobe isn't a clutch guy, but the "assassin" and stupid sports cliches dumb down sports talk in America.
