Move Alabama and Auburn to the East and bring in two more teams in the East i.e. VT/ GT/ FSU or the like.

That opens up four spots to bring in Texas, Oklahoma, Okie State, and TAMU. It would be like a super charged SEC conference, call it SWeC. Then you have 2 BCS bowl tie ins and no conference championship game. Beats what they are trying to do in the PAC and this would probably work the best that way each division within the SEC would serve as their own conference. It makes the most sense instead of trying to make 1500 miles separating conference rivals work.

Ummm...if you added Auburn, Bama, and two more teams to the East, you would need to add six teams to the West to make it even, and then you would have 20 teams. Bad idea.

Edit: That is actually the worst idea I have heard yet.

there would be 2 BCS tie ins and no conference championship. kinda what they proposed in the Pac XX.

ok then do not expand the East just move Auburn and Bama to the East and then add the rest to the west to balance it which is what I think the commissioner wants to do anyway?
