I haven't been keeping up with all the news, but I'm trying to figure why all the changes?
What happened to the BIG 12? And why all the conference shifts among schools across the nation?

The initial departures were due to schools wanting higher payouts and better TV contracts. The rest will be due to the instability caused by the initial departures.
