Why, so we can wait five years and realize that the Pac 16 is doing very well, feel the need to expand, and be stuck adding Clemson, FSU, GT, and VT? How would that change our financial situation and gain coverage around the country? We already have those markets and Virginia is split between a bevy of schools so that isn't a market that the SEC doesn't already get to an extent.

People keep acting scared that aTm will get more exposure in the SEC. But so what. The whole reason aTm stopped playing us, besides the fact that their AD is mad at us, is the fact that we gain a ton of exposure in Texas from it. This will help LSU.
