Since there is no chance of getting Texas, the
SEC should put the full court press on A&M and Missouri since it provides for geographic expansion and brings large TV markets...

If we are going to go for a weaker school like Missouri I would rather bring TCU over. Atleast that opens the Texas market more and they would give us better games than Missouri.

No one in Texas gives a shite about TCU.

Mizzou is a big school with good academics, solid FB and BB teams and a brings alot of TV sets.

The SEC doesn't need to add elite football schools. We have that already.

OKC is bigger than either of them
OKC is 100% OU, as opposed to 50/50 KU/Mizzou split in KC and whatever the foothold is in St. Louis between Mizzou and Illinois.

and OU not only has a better football program, but also an overall better athletic program than Mizzou.

Mizzou to Big Ten seems like a lot closer to being a done deal than OU going to PacX

and neither is done yet

I would like to see A&M, Oklahoma and Texas Tech or Ok State either one. Then add Va Tech and move Bama and Auburn to the East.

East
UF
UT
UGA
Va Tech
UK
USCe
Bama
AU

West
TT
OU
A&M
LSU
OM
MSU
UA
Vandy

With this senerio the east will be stronger without a doubt but times change and teams go up and down.

I'm not so much opposed to the idea of Mizzou in the SEC.. but barring Texas the real prize left in the Big 12 is OU, and if the SEC can get them, they should.

I think the addition of TAMU, OU, Mizzou, and VT would make for a good 16 team SEC..

OKC's metro area is about 1.3M.

The state of OK has 3.7M.

KC's metro is 2M.

SL's is 2.8M.

State of Missouri has 6M.

According to this link OKC is 45, ST is 21 and KC is 31 in TV markets. LINK
