So what. Typical from an Auburn fan though who still believes UGA and AU have to play or the world will end. It's retarded. The landscape is changing, change with it and get used to it.

I guess I'm too much of a traditionalist, but I like the longtime rivalries. Nebraska vs. Michigan/OSU/Purdue/Iowa/MSU = so what? Texas vs. Pac-10=so what? I could get behind Texas vs. SEC, though. With close ties to both, THAT's a change I'd embrace.

College football is a totally different animal than it once was. While you certainly want to keep some tradition around, I still find the constant opponent to appease four teams to be a complete joke and completely unfair. It makes no sense to me why we have to play UF every year to placate Auburn v. UGA and Bama v. Tenn.

We like tradition, what can we say. We've been playing for 100 odd years and don't want that to end.

I don't remember Neb/CU being played the Friday after Turkey Day. I always watched Neb/Okla on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

IF you had a rival, you would understand.

It's a helluva game that fires up the spirit. I can't get fired up over playing Vandy or MS State. Florida? Hell, yes!

You're still gonna have to get by Florida to get to the MNC game, anyway.
