Why not? 10 dollars an hour and 200 bucks a week is more than enough for scholarship athletes.......Hell they are signing billion dollar contracts so why not pay the kid 8 dollars an hour?

Football players already receive a mighty generous stipend.

I don't know if they will break from the NCAA!!

Yeah its bullshite that the NCAA makes billions on the studnet-athletes when they can't get any money

Most are already getting a free ride to college. That should be enough, it would ruin college football to pay players. It would ruin their incentive to play hard to get to the next level.

So you don't see any possibility for gross abuse of this right?

Why should they? The schools don't force them to play football. Why not pay high schoolers too?
They get room and board+tuition+books+free tutors 24 hours a day+better gym. And that's just from the institution.
I'd rather live the life of a cfb player than a normal student who has to actually work a job and pay for himself.
I'm not saying they don't earn it and work for it. They do. Everyday they practice and work hard on the field. But they are compensated for that already immensely. I bet if you put a dollar amount on EVERYTHING included on those FB schollies it would be close to 25k-30k a year. Pretty fricking good for anyone who hasn't set foot in the real world if you ask me.
