Flower Garden Bank

Any divers out there? What are your thoughts on the Flower Garden Banks getting obliberated by the oil? This is a gem in the northwest Gulf(one of the northmost coral reefs in the world) that took thousands, if not millions? of years to evolve. frick B.P. Anyone half a link to it?

It's an awfully long ways from away. I would think it would be safe.

Sorry had to split for a while. It is located about 120 miles due south of Sabine Pass, not anywhere close to Mexico.

I think it's going to be safe, but that's just a guess and I haven't really thought about it until now. I agree that it would be a horrible loss, not as catastrophic a loss as the ENTIRE GULF COAST, but bad none the less.

This whole thing is obviously a big shite sandwich.
