Then why in the hell do you even play it?? You win the toughest baseball tournament in the nation, you should be rewarded. And I would say this for anyone.

LSU 40-20, ALABAMA 37-22, LSU has beat Alabama all 4 times they played this year and we get sent 27 hours down the road and Alabama gets sent 3 hours down the road!!! COMPLETE bullshite!!!!

We really can't complain, the NCAA always serves us up an easy regional

The SEC Champion is hosting its own regional as a national seed.
The only thing winning the conference tournament guarantees you is entrance into the tournament.
First year following college baseball, eh?

Geography. Alabama could bus to Ga Tech. LSU couldn't bus anywhere. Beating Alabama 4 times this year=totally irrelevant in the placement process.

We should be in Atlanta before Bama, we beat'em 4 times... no question about it.

Beating them 4 times has nothing to do with it. Geography did. See above.

Don't get the geography... the better team deserves the better site. Send Bama out West, they can ride a plane too.

Winning the SEC Tournament wasn't that a big of deal for the committee. I think in basketball...the committee looks at the last 10 games way more than baseball...where conference tournaments are used to really play your way in, or work on a higher seed.
For us, getting swept by UK, Ole Miss, Fla..only taking 1 from Vandy, 2 from State.....
Regular season wasn't that great, sure we played great last week, but that didn't overcome finishing below .500 in the conference.

The NCAA is not known for using commin sense in seeding teams in regionals.
ALWAYS expect the unexpected with the NCAA!
