Girouard left USL in 2001 to take the reins of the LSU program. Her record at LSU is 407-119, including a 166-66 record in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). She has led LSU to two Women's College World Series (third-place finishes in 2001 and 2004), three SEC championships (2001, 2002, and 2004), four SEC tournament championships (2001, 2002, 2004, and 2007), and two SEC tournament runner-up finishes (2003 and 2006). Her Lady Tiger teams have also played in seven NCAA tournaments.

What makes some of you think the ULL program is better?

And the following tidbit about the ULL head coachin job is unique and weird at the same time:

quote:

The team is led by an unusual co-head coaching arrangement; even more unusual is that the head coaches are married – Stefni Lotief (452-110 record through ten seasons as either head or co-head coach) and husband Michael (assistant coach for two seasons, co-head coach for the last eight with a 351-87 record).

I wonder who gets the last word.
