If he wins the starting job and stays injury free, he can go for 1,000. But Ridley and Ford will get their share of touches so I say the over/under is at 750

yeah if he stays injury free he could definitely explode on the scene for our running game..unfortunately our line has to prove itself as strong run blockers

not to change the topic of the thread, but do you think with a healthy RM, along with Ford and Ridley being great backs, Spencer Ware will redshirt?
Im thinking so..hopefully we won't have to use him. I want that guy in a tiger uniform as long as possible

He'll probably have a year much like Alley Broussard had after his injury. Maybe a flash of brilliance here and there against ULL, but probably no more than 4 or 5 touches a game. That's 'best case' scenerio.
With Crowten, I doubt any one player touches the ball more than 7 or 8 times a game anyway, and if our QB play doesn't improve it doesn't matter if Barry Sanders is out there.

I really wish occasionally we would put a player in the game enough to "take over the game." This rotational/situational play may have its advantages, but cant shep have 15 touches one game? maybe? please?
