I work with a woman from Honduras.

We are good friends. Her blinders are on already. She actually thinks they are gonna win. She wants to make me an honorary Catrachos, it's like their nickname or something. Because we are friends, she wants me to pull for them. I'm with the stars and stripes but if they get bounced out, I'll pull for Honduras even though they probably won't even make it out of their pool....Does anyone else work with anyone who's from a World Cup country.

Honduras isn't doing shite.
Spain is taking one of the spots and it's between Chile and Switzerland for the next spot. I hope Spain beats the ever living shite out of Switzerland in the first game so that if and when Chile beats Honduras, Switzerland will have to run and gun with Chile if they have any hopes of advancing. If Switzerland is in good standing going into that game against Chile it could spell doom because Chile is so young and I could see them getting frustrated real easily.

I think Honduras has a chance of advancing. Spain is a familiar opponent, as Honduras tied them 1-1 back in 82 when the World Cup was in Spain. Honduras scores goals. Thats what they do. Advancing is very unlikely, but still possible.

Yea, like at least 5 Mexican women in my office, who will be pulling for Mexico, & my wife is Mexican-American, so she will be pulling for Mexico also, & I will pull for Italy, because, I always do...my choice...
