Can we sticky a vacation thread for individuals to post information on beach destinations and/or ask questions about likelihood of oil in said areas?

I think it would cut down on about half of the threads being started on this board.

I agree with this request, but I think the fine folks who run this site like more threads.

Seriously, do we need a "going to gulfshores" thread every two days. Trust me folks, you WILL know when oil is washing ashore in Alabama or Florida.

Why some of these yahoos think people on here have a magical crystal ball that can tell where the oil will be in the next 2 weeks to 2 months is beyond me.

I am not even talking about that...just wanting a stickied thread that will consolidate the vacation information that probably 80% of us will want to know about at some point this summer.

until today I did not think it would not affect Gulf Shores/Pensacola Beach - I was wrong. There is such a strong smell of oil in the air it is sickening. I do not think many people would want to sit on a beach and smell this
