Question on Zach Lee

So I assume Zach Lee will be reporting with all the other freshman football players in early June, or will baseball keep him away this summer? If he is reporting on time, maybe getting to know his teamates and becoming comfortable with lsu over the summer will play into our favor when the MLB comes calling.

Draft is before fall practice when freshmen report. I think he has until August 15th to make a decision. It may not be exactly the 15th but somewhere in that time. I guess if he moved to BR on his own and took part in voluntary drills during the summer then maybe it would influence him. I don't know if he is playing summer ball...if he does then that means he went pro most likely. Other than that I don't see a reason for him to play summer baseball. If its amateur then he was probably placed by LSU but considering he is coming in on a football scholly I doubt Miles lets that happen.
