I know rivals lists him with an LSU offer, but was he not a priority?

He was a priority. We wanted him badly.

****Tide lands huge commitment... Reply
Also a surprise since LSU considered him a lock but today Brandley Sylve, a Louisiana native, committed to Nick Saban. His mother just confirmed. Check out his film. He's fast. Story coming.

we'll see if it sticks w/ him being from SE LA and the rest of the '11 class in his ear from now til NSD. At least it happened early to where there's a ton of time to change his mind.

It's on the main page to their site, but it doesn't say he is under his page.
I'm not worried, he will come back to LSU, especially since Bama uses their receivers so well. Just go ask Julio Jones

Well, schit. I'd estimate the chances of him sticking with UA until February to be somewhere in the range of .00000000001 - .00000000005.
Hope you're right...but this sucks bad...congrats to ya'll.

The Alabama Crimson Tide added its 12th commitment of the 2011 recruiting class with the commitment of Port Sulphur (LA) wide receiver Bradley Sylve. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound playmaker from South Plaquemines High School gave the Alabama coaching staff the good news on Wednesday.
"It's true, he's committed to Alabama," said Sylve's mother. "We really liked the environment at Alabama and we felt from the first time we visited that it was the right fit. Bradley wanted to get this decision out of the way early and he felt really comfortable going with Alabama."
Sylve, a member of the Rivals250 to Watch for 2011, becomes the fourth wide receiver prospect to commit to the Tide for the Class of 2011 after nearly committing to Les Miles and the LSU Tigers on a visit in February. Sylve's change of heart came after a visit to Tuscaloosa for the Tide's junior day.
"When Bradley visited Tuscaloosa, he felt really comfortable with the coaches and the whole environment," Sylve's mother said. "I think he left there feeling like it was probably the right place for him to be."
Sylve chose the Tide over offers from LSU, Auburn, Cal, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Stanford, Tennessee and USC. He boasts a 4.43 forty time and a 30-inch vertical jump.

Any reason why he would choose Bama over LSU? Worried about playing time?

Add to the fact he will be on LSU's campus at least 4 times this summer for track and field, LSU will be all over him.
Also heard he is a home body which makes this surprising. Probably liked the depth chart a little better.

Obviously he will decommit and we will never get another WR worth a shite.
It's not like we don't have 3 QB's that would start at his second choice school.... I think he will end up getting the ball but that's just a hunch.
