No true fan can be happy with what Miles has done to this program. We have went from possibly the top program this decade to medicore way to quick. Our players are getting dogged in the NFL because of lack of discipline and our QB show absoluetly no signs of growth. LSU should never settle for being average. We have a great advantage in that this state produces top talent. Hell no I am not happy

Happy if the improvements continue. With Jr QB and bigger OL, I think it's probable.
Lets say I have a Want to be happy.

Even Les Miles isn't happy with Les Miles right now. But that won't stop the deluded.

I
I can't blame him totally. Last year we were at least competitive in all games and barring a few injuries late I do believe that Bama would have went down. The injuries, imo, hurt us more than anything last year. Combine them with what happened with Ryan P and we were lucky to come out as good as we did last year. Now the whole clock screwup at ole miss, that was his fault. All in all I think he is a great college coach and hopefully he can convince all you haters in the next few years to come.

This is another stupid atempt on the part of the nega tigers to bring down the program! The only way that Miles will be let go at this time would be if he did something on a presonal manner that reflected negatively on the University! If you think that you in any are Tiger fans then please stop this BS. I have confidence that if improvements are not made the proper moves will be made by those who are in a position to do so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an internet message board, and you are delusional.
Anybody with 2 eyes and half of a brain can see that this football program has real problems. Me pointing this out doesn't change a thing. The negatigers aren't bringing down the program, those responsible for the program are doing a fine job of this themselves.
Are you one of these simpletons that think if you show up wearing the wrong colored LSU shirt, that the team's performance will somehow be negatively effected by your choice of apparel?

i don't know if i'm necessarily happy with him right now b/c of the last two seasons but i still think he's the right coach for LSU for the foreseeable future. the negativity toward him is over the top and unwarranted at this point-I see us making big strides this year and improving by at least one game in the conference standings. year after that things should line up great for us to make a big time run at another NC.

Were you happy with him in 2007? Honest question.

When has Les Miles said he is not happy with him self?

No ... and that's an honest answer. Admittedly, it was very, very tough to be anti-Miles after the NC. I had to bite my tongue for a while, because I just got tired of fighting and arguing with everyone. It was apparent to me immediately. Watching the team in '05, it seemed to me that something was just not right about our team. Even in '07, it was fairly obvious to me that we were not a well coached team.
I have been anti-Miles since Tenn '05, after watching him frantically trying to call a timeout after our interception.
I have been proven correct about Miles, and no, I take no pleasure from this.

Due to fact they haven't sniffed a MNC.
Do you feel 4m/yr is entitlement to 11 wins/yr?
Miles earned his 3.8m, just like Saban earned his.
Tricky walked out and Miles is still trying to get us another MNC.

Fantastic...yet another in the series of Les Miles coaching threads!!

you are a retard. Les Miles had a championship handed to him. He needed to go 5/5 on 4th down to beat a gator team that should not have been within 2 tds of us. He also lost two games to unranked opponents that had far less talent than we did and needed an absolute miracle to get into the MNC game where he beat an Ohio State team that was inferior to say the least. I can give him credit for recruiting but lets be real here. This is LSU. This is Louisiana. This is a place where people want to come. LEs Miles has done less with more and you have to admit that.

Nick Saban took us from a middle tier program to a national powerhouse. He built us up. Dont you even try to argue that Les Miles did the same.
