Yea I'm about 50-50 when it comes to agreeing with review sites on comedies, definitely very inconsistent compared to non-comedy ratings.

my rule on comedies is that if the critics rate it highly, I will probably like it and laugh at it. If they rate it poorly, I may still laugh at it but it probably won't be "good"
