I've always thought Stoops was a good coach, but I don't think it's completely unreasonable to compare him to CLM. He and Mack Brown are a hell of lot closer to Miles than they are to Saban or Meyer. Oklahoma would probably drop 4 games a year in the SEC.

Good coach with some flaws. At least Les typically wins the bowl game.

some of you are delusional with your SEC bullshite. you really think 08 OU would lose 4 games? to who exactly? did you not see them go toe to toe with UF, they would have beaten any other SEC team that year

My dad is an OU fan and believes, like many of his fellow fans that Stoops has insane talent and very little fire in the belly. He is too complacent.
