exactly.. i mean i don't know if you can vote on pitchers but starters have only 2-3 games under their belts..

and yeah there is no doubt that jason heyward is an all star this season.. the early voting is going to help tremendously..

I'll be one of the ones voting for him as long as the process is such a joke. I'm a huge Braves homer.

okay i'v checked the current stats and if people voted with some integrity for this season only.. this is how it should go..

AL:
1-Cabrera, M.
2-Pedroia, D. (Cano is close)
SS-Jeter, D.
3-Longoria, E.
C-Mauer, J.
DH:Guillen, J.
OF-Choo, S., Cruz, N., Wells, V.
NL:
1-Pujols, A.
2-Utley, C.
SS-Ramirez, H.
3-McGehee, C.
C-Rodriguez, I.
OF-Braun, R., Heyward, J., Kemp, M.

Ethier and Ramirez are both realllly close as well..

how does a .209 current batting average guy lead all first baseman in AL all star voting.

miguel cabrera has a .330+ average with 3 more homers and 10 more rbis..

Why Mauer? I thought he was hurt and sat for about a week.

I am not sure there is another Catcher but I think I would hold my vote for him as of now.

What sucks about Rowengartner is that the managers make the call about pitchers and we can't vote. That being said, I don't think Billy Heywood is looking forward to game planning against him in interleague play this year.

I've been saying this since the beginning of the season. I can't wait to see Heyward in a Homerun Derby.
